If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you may not use the Platform.

Eligibility

FundRoute is intended for users who:

Are 18 years or older
Are legally permitted to enter into binding agreements
Represent either a business seeking capital or an individual/entity with investment interest

We reserve the right to decline access to any user for any reason, including but not limited to incomplete profiles or misrepresentation.

Nature of the Platform

FundRoute is not a broker-dealer, investment advisor, or funding entity.
We do not provide financial advice, solicit investments, or facilitate transactions.

FundRoute is an introduction platform. We help users discover and connect — what happens after that is up to you.

Account & Profile Information

You may be required to create an account and submit information about your business or investment preferences.

You agree that:

All information you provide is truthful, accurate, and up-to-date
You will not impersonate others or misrepresent your identity, qualifications, or intentions
FundRoute may review, approve, or reject profiles at our sole discretion

Confidentiality & Privacy

We treat your information with care.
You agree not to publicly share or distribute information, pitches, or investor details obtained through FundRoute without prior consent from the other party.

Use of the platform is also governed by our [Privacy Policy] which explains how we collect, use, and protect your data.

Non-Circumvention

By using FundRoute, you agree not to bypass the platform by soliciting or accepting direct introductions from other users for the purpose of avoiding fees or terms associated with the platform (where applicable).

We reserve the right to restrict or terminate access in cases of circumvention or bad faith use.

Content & Conduct

You agree not to:

Post false, misleading, or unlawful content
Use the platform to promote scams, unlicensed securities, or unauthorized fundraising
Interfere with platform operations or the experience of other users

FundRoute may remove content or suspend access for violations of these Terms.

Intellectual Property

All platform design, content, graphics, logos, and technology are the property of FundRoute unless otherwise stated.
You may not reproduce, reverse engineer, or exploit any part of the service without written permission.

No Guarantees

FundRoute makes no guarantee that:

You will secure investment
You will find appropriate opportunities
Any introduction will lead to a transaction or relationship

We offer no warranties, express or implied. Use of the platform is at your own risk.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, FundRoute shall not be liable for:

Any loss of investment, opportunity, or revenue
Misuse of shared information by third parties
Platform downtime, delays, or errors

In no event shall our total liability exceed the amount you paid (if any) to use the platform in the 6 months prior to the event giving rise to the claim.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to FundRoute at any time for violations of these Terms or for any reason deemed appropriate to protect the integrity of the platform.

You may also delete your account at any time.

Modifications

We may update these Terms from time to time.
We will notify you of material changes, and your continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of those updates.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada without regard to conflict of law principles.
